Korene E. J. Smith is the Author and Illustrator of "Phenomenally Me".

She is a native of Detroit, MI with a passion for community planning and economic development. She believes that sustainable community development must begin with stimulating and rejuvenating the minds' of individuals. By investing time and resources in our youth, she knows that we will be able to catapult the next generation into a greater tier of excellence. 

 

Korene is the wife of a military veteran and the mother of two amazing children & spirited Labradoodle. She is a proud graduate of Howard University with a BBA in Marketing, received her Masters of Science in Community & Regional Planning from Temple University and is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

 

Her hobbies include drawing, exploring new cities and participating in community activities.
